Putting others down and criticizing their goal is one of main reasons that could harm someone’s progress in life.  It could also harm their self confidence if the individual is easily shaken by what others tell them and seeks people’s approval constantly.  Instead of putting others down, start to encourage others to give their best.

3.  Practice unconditional love

As I mentioned in my previous article “What is unconditional love?” that practicing the art of unconditional love is one of the main keys not only to win your partner, but also to winning people’s hearts.  The more you offer unconditional love to others, the more they will get encouraged to go after their goals and start feeling worthy.

4.  Offer daily words of encouragement

When you offer daily words of encouragement, you are helping the other person to go after his goal and persist.  As you know words are energy, the more you use uplifting and positive words, the more the other individual gets encouraged.

Watch The Other F Word – Movie 2011 Online

Filmmaker Andrea Blaugrund’s high energy documentary is chronicles the changes that professional — famous, even — punk rock musicians go through when that F word makes its way into their lives. Still sporting spiky hair, body studs and zippy rocker attire, they are now pushing prams to the playground — when they’re not playing local clubs or going on the road to support their families by practicing their chosen profession — which often entails acting like the bad boy adolescents their followers expect them to be.

Backed by the likes of Blink-182′s Mark Hoppus, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea, Rise Against’s Tim McIlrath and other noted punk rock musicians, the film’s front man is Jim Lindberg, the 20-year veteran of Pennywise, the band whose anthem spins on the other other F word — “Fuck Authority.” Of course, that is no longer his personal perspective at home, but he manages to convince fans to the contrary. These guys adore their kids and love their gigs. Sometimes juggling their punk and pop roles can get a bit awkward, even a bit challenging, but they seem able to keep all their balls in the air. They can shout on stage and speak softly at home.

This film is fun and spirited. It’s a sort of coming of age film, offers an entertaining and unusual view how punk musicians who completely shunned responsibility during their twenties have come, at age 40, to embrace it. They’ve become maturely introspective, acknowledging that their absentee fathers left them longing for effective parenting, and declaring that they will not do that, in turn, to their kids. They’re interesting and unexpected role models. If that surprises you, the notion of watching members of Pennywise, NOFX, Rancid, Blink-182 and more speak with amazement about their life paths may be of interest. For those of us who understand that tastes, attitudes and worldviews are in a constant state of change and evolution, though, sitting through 100 minutes of The Other F Word can be an exercise in tedium. Andrea Blaugrund’s documentary hinges on this “revelation,” weighing the film down almost immediately with a weak, unoriginal thesis, so repetitive it feels like a three-chord riff.

The film briefly works in its playful identification of the irony of snot-nosed anti-Establishment punks becoming domesticated members of that system. As several of the subjects note, they have to go on stage and sing about anarchy and rebellion and defying authority, then go home and tell their kids not to pick at each other or to do their homework. This is the only time the film successfully differentiates punk fathers from any other hell-raising teen-turned-parental figure, as they still work in a career where they are expected to be the same person from 18 until death.

The dominant interview subject, Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, is amusingly candid in his midlife assessment. He wears hats at shows to hide his receding hairline and dyes his goatee, and he’s clearly grown tired of the routine. While most of the other musicians still commit themselves to endless touring, Lindberg grapples with the prospect of being away from his kids for most of the year and looks miserable on-tour when juxtaposed with scenes of his family missing him. Mark Hoppus notes he has to buy the clean versions of his own albums for his kids. Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is heartwarming in his conviction to be there for his kids after suffering an abusive childhood, while Duane Peters of U.S. Bombs is wrenching in his still-raw, incoherent sorrow over losing a child in a car accident in 2007.

But even these moments feel like vignettes culled from a “Where are they now?” segment of band docs strung together without a spine. The Other F Word’s key flaw is that it embraces the same deluded sense of originality as the punks who still haven’t matured out of that particularly teenaged evaluation of self-worth. Blaugrund even validates the absurd claim by one subject that settling down and raising a family is “the punkest thing of all.”

Had Blaugrund widened her scope, she might have addressed some of the issues that circle outside the film’s narrow range. Music industry rants, admissions of wanting to live into old age rather than die in dried-vomit puddles like so many peers and sober assessments of the nature of touring and pleasing fans hint at a more uncompromising analysis of popular punk. But by focusing so intently on fatherhood, Blaugrund mistakes a catalyst for the whole chemical reaction, missing the implicit critique of commercialized anarchy suggested by the film. She, like so many of the rockers interviewed, seems to think that the inherent falseness of multiplatinum nihilism is a dark but solvable irony rather than an irreconcilable, self-annihilating contradiction and that limited grasp of the material makes The Other F Word an unfortunately dull compilation of some truly interesting people.

I have been totally surprised by the misinformation which has been spread after the passage of the new tort reform law. Since the law was passed by Missouri lawmakers in 2005, I have had numerous calls from injured workers who have been told that “work comp” doesn’t pay on carpal tunnel cases anymore. This simply isn’t true! There have been changes in the law and the bar has been raised, but carpal tunnel and other repetitive motion claims are still alive and well, despite what you may have heard. At one time, the law was more lax and a case was compensable if work simply “triggered” an injury.The bar was then raised so that a worker had to prove that work was a “substantial factor” in producing an injury. The standard now is that the injured worker must show that work was “the prevailing” or the “dominant factor” in producing an injury. While this is a more difficult standard, it is an exaggeration, or a misrepresentation, for your employer or an insurance adjuster to tell you that “workman’s comp” doesn’t provide compensation for “repetitive trauma injuries” anymore. This is also true of other repetitive trauma claims like “epicondylitis” (tennis elbow), “De Quervains Syndrome”, “tendonitis”, “ulnar nerve entrapment”, “cubital tunnel”,”rotator cuff ” injuries, “shoulder impingement” syndrome “reflex sympathetic dystrophy”, “herniated disc” injuries and a host of other others. In conclusion, please spread the word that to your fellow workers so that they are not mislead. When in doubt, contact an experienced Missouri “work comp lawyer”.
